First CW contact this year!

Many thanks to Jan SM5DGA/QRP for my first CW contact this year :-)
Reports RST 559 both ways on 30M band 10.1200Mhz.
Jan is a fellow QRP enthusiast but unfortunately I was using my Kenwood rig as I don't have any other means to get on 30m. (using 25w too).
Will try to have at least one contact per day to get my speed up..

    Well done on that CW QSO. I am still building up to it!!

    What was the QRS frequency you mentioned on 80 metres?? I might give that one a go- you never know!!

  2. Hi Kevin,

    I think the QRS freq in the bandplan is 3.555
    but I find around 3.560 - 3.579 mainly QRP and QRS
    about 12-15 wpm.Quite a few use straight key too.
    Go for it.
